Scholarships Terms and Conditions:
  • Capped programs (PRA, and HRMA) are excluded from any scholarship except the siblings.
  • Students who are under the scholarship program will pay the equivalent amount if they drop, withdraw, change major or fail subject(s).
  • Applicants should submit evidence of relationship (passport copy, UAE ID card, Kholasat Kaid, birth certificate), employment ID, people of determination card, medical report, an endorsement letter from HR for government employees, Certified High School Grade Sheet along with the application of Admission.
  • Any two (2) scholarships cannot be combined. In case any student qualifies for two (2) or more scholarship criteria, the higher scholarship discount shall apply.
  • Referral discount does not apply during the open house.
  • Admission Fee waiver is not applicable on HRMA and Capped seats in PRA and MALaw.
  • Students who change their majors after studying the General education and core courses must pay the difference in tuition fees if there are any.
  • Students should register in a minimum of 3 courses (9 credit hours) for the undergraduate programs.
  • For the merit and embassies/consulates one-seat scholarship, the student has to register for 5 courses (15 credit hours) for Fall and Spring each. The summer session is optional.
  • For the CUCA, R holding, and subsidiaries of R holding companies’ employees and their brothers, sisters, spouse, or children, the HR policy applies.
 

The Merit Scholarship is a reduction in the tuition of up to 50% on the basis pf performance. CUCA awards this scholarship to new students with a secondary school score of 90% and above with a condition to maintain a CGPA 3.8 and above, and register a minimum of 15 CH in each semester.

This scholarship is for talented athletes from any sport who have competed and achieved success at least at a city level. Sports Scholarships are awarded based on the applicant’s sports achievement level and their academic performance. A tuition fee of up to 15% can be applied accordingly.

The Special Needs Scholarship is a type of scholarship awarded on a case-by-case basis. Students must present evidence of financial hardship to the Scholarship Office for approval. Students under this scholarship must maintain a certain CGPA approved by the scholarship committee.

The Rashid Bin Humaid Scholarship is a merit scholarship which aims to ensure that financial difficulties do not bar qualified students from pursuing higher education.

CUCA is committed to offering top-quality education to students from all tiers of society, regardless of gender, race, religion, or nationality. CUCA recognizes that financial considerations play an important role in a student’s decision to pursue higher education. Hence, the University offers a number of grants and allowances under the Rashid Bin Humaid Scholarship Program to ensure that adverse financial situations do not prevent exceptionally talented students from achieving their higher education goals at CUCA. Scholarship is available to all students, who meet the prescribed criteria. Students may apply for a scholarship on the basis of academic excellence, athletic achievements, and financial challenges. The scholarship is tailored to the individual needs and circumstances of each student and may be provided via any of the following modes work-study opportunities, grants, allowances, and employment opportunities. Application forms can be obtained from the Registration Department and must be submitted with all the required documents relevant to support scholarship requests. Short-listed students will be called for an interview and scholarships will be awarded purely on merit basis through an approved process.

Terms and Conditions:

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

  1. To be a citizen of UAE from the Emirate of Ajman.
  2. To be an enrolled student at the university, and that includes
    – Regular students.
    – Students who stopped their education due to financial outstanding.
  3. The applicant must be enrolled at a Bachelor or Master’s degree
  4. Must have completed minimum 12 credit hours by the time of submitting the application.
  5. The applicant and his family should be within the low income segment
  6. Applicant CGPA must not be less than 2.5 at the time of the application submission. 
  7. The applicant should not have received a disciplinary action at the university, except for the warning penalty.
  8. Should not be receiving another financial support neither from the university, nor from any other external source.

Prospective graduate students are given priority for the financial assistance

 

Applicants must follow the below steps:

  1. Fill the electronic institution form at the university website
  2. Submit the list of documents, and they should be approved by the external authorities. All documents must be valid and must be attached to the application electronically.

Documents include:

  • A copy of the passport issued by the Emirate of Ajman.
  • A copy of the family book issued by the Emirate of Ajman.
  • A copy of the identity card.
  • Salary certificate.
  • All documents and other documents required to support the application.

 

  1. The application will be canceled if it does not fulfill the required documents.
  2. After the committee meeting, they may approve partial financial assistance or reject any of the applications, according to the case urgency and the supporting document. 
  3. Approved applications, will receive a maximum support of AED 30,000 during the length of the study.  
  4. The applicant will receive the final committee decision via text messages and e-mail.

 

The electronic application will be incomplete until submitting the original documents to the scholarship office at the College.

    You can pay fees through more than 170 branches of Al Ansari Exchange across the UAE, these branches are open from early morning until late at night, saving the time and effort of paying fees in the CUCA campus. Following are the steps for making payment:
